It’s that time of year again. Tomorrow most of us will sit around the table with friends and family to stuff our faces with turkey and obscene amounts of gravy and pie. At least that’s what happens at my house. Well, technically that’s what happens in my camper. For years now, my extended family has camped out at the beach for Thanksgiving, eating our big dinner al fresco, followed by watching Virginia Tech football.
While my Thanksgiving may not be strictly traditional, I will be thinking about all I have to be thankful for in 2017. That includes good health for my family, a career that I love waking up for every day, and some memorable trips, including a scouting trip to Paris, a speaking gig in at WCR’s National Conference in Seattle, and a weekend in NYC with my boys (their first trip to the Big Apple).
Also at the top of my thankful list is YOU – my colleagues, clients and partners. Just over four years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Carrie Frye Interior Design. Owning my own firm had been a dream of mine since I started in this business 20 years ago, and with your partnership and support, that dream has exceeded my wildest expectations.
To my clients, thank you for trusting our team to bring your vision to life. To my partners and colleagues, thanks for helping us create spaces where people love to work, play and dine. I can’t wait to see what we design together in 2018!
