GPS relocated to Charlotte from Savannah and needed both an office and warehouse space. Beyond the logistics, the design challenge was to create a new office that would be fun, functional and inspiring. The space includes a research lab, along with a showroom of product display. CFID removed the ceilings in the open area. Even though it is 20-feet high, and there are forklifts on the other side of the wall, the office has the feel of a productive training and collaboration space. Private offices can double as small conference rooms, and the open break room is centrally located for an infinite number of impromptu meet ups. Glass at office fronts brings daylight to all spaces and a circular set up for work areas keeps ideas flowing.
